Day 1: San Cristobal Island
San Cristobal - Lobería Beach
Arrival at San Cristobal Island airport, reception by our National Park guides, transfer and accommodation at the hotel/Lunch. Visit La Lobería beach. The beach is 10 minutes from San Cristobal airport. It is a coral sand beach with sea lions. La Lobería is a piece of coastline that has been so named because of the large number of sea lions that rest on its rocks and sand. In spite of being outside the limits of the National Park area, due to its great importance, the Park staff is in charge of its maintenance and care. In addition to the sea lions, you will be able to observe birds such as the sea canary, frigate birds and several species of finches. On the rocks, you will find large Galapagos marine iguanas, unique in the world. Dinner, Accommodation.
Day 2: San Cristobal Island
San Cristobal - Interpretation center - Cerro tijeretas - Mann Beach
Breakfast. Walk through the dry forest of Cerro Tijeretas. Sightings of blue-footed and masked boobies, frigate birds and other birds. Hotel/lunch. In the afternoon we will visit the interpretation center of the National Park where we will find information about the origin of the islands and their endemic species. We finish our visit with a refreshing swim in the afternoon at Mann Beach. Lunch, dinner. Accommodation.
Day 3: San Cristobal Island
San Cristobal - El Junco Lagoon
Breakfast. El Junco Lagoon is located 19 kilometers from the port inside a large volcano, now extinct, its name comes from a type of plant that is common in its surroundings, called Junco. The lagoon is also surrounded by Miconia, a species of flora endemic to Galapagos. It is also one of the favorite sites for frigate birds that fly and brush its waters with fresh water. The activities that can be done are: Hiking (it is recommended to go with sport shoes), bird watching, photography and filming. Lunch and dinner. Accommodation.
Day 4: San Cristobal Island
San Cristobal - Punta Carola
Breakfast. Punta Carola is a beach located to the northwest of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. The beach has an extension of approximately 300 meters, the same that is made up of dry forest vegetation.
On the beach there is a large colony of sea lions, among the vegetation and on the rocks are present marine iguanas. You can do: Surfing, photography and filming, snorkeling and swimming Lunch and dinner. Accommodation.
Day 5:
San Cristobal
Breakfast. Depending on the time of your flight, the guide will assign a pick up time from your hotel to transfer you to the airport.
